One person has died after a tree fell on a moving SLTB bus in the Halwatta area along the Deltota–Kandy road today.
According to police, the tree collapsed onto the bus while it was in motion, causing severe damage.
Ten other passengers who were onboard at the time sustained injuries and were admitted to hospital for treatment.
