The Department of Registration of Persons announced that the issuance of National Identity Cards (NICs) will continue without interruption.
According to the department, around 1.5 million applications for NICs have been received so far, and the printing and distribution process is currently being carried out in an organized manner.
Officials further confirmed that the department will continue to issue NICs to general applicants who visit daily to obtain their identity cards, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted service.
