The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has issued a reminder that all locally manufactured ready-to-serve fruit drinks must now display the Sri Lanka Standards (SLS) product certification mark.
CAA Reminds Manufacturers to Display SLS Mark on Ready-to-Serve Fruit Drinksrding to the CAA, this regulation is aimed at ensuring the safety and quality of products offered to consumers.
In addition, the Authority noted that imported fruit drinks within this category must obtain prior approval for sale under the Import Inspection Scheme.
Consumers are encouraged to report any violations or obtain further information by contacting the CAA hotline 1977.
