The Department of Meteorology says that mainly fair weather conditions will prevail across most parts of Sri Lanka today (31).
Misty conditions are likely in some areas of the Central, Sabaragamuwa, and Uva provinces during the early hours of the morning.
Meanwhile, fair weather is also expected over the sea areas surrounding the island. Winds will be south-westerly or variable in direction, with speeds ranging between 20 and 30 kmph.
The seas around the island are forecast to remain slight to moderate in condition, according to the department.
