The High Commission of India in Colombo said that IVS Lanka, the outsourcing service provider managing visa, passport, and consular services, will cease operations on October 31, 2025.
According to an official notice, effective November 3, 2025, all related services will be handled directly by the High Commission of India in Colombo, the Assistant High Commission in Kandy, and the Consulate General of India in Jaffna.
The High Commission further stated that a new appointment management system is being established for applicants, with additional details to be announced soon.
