Two female Police Constables from the Prime Minister’s Security Division have returned a lost wallet to its owner, a British tourist, after it was found on Thimbirigasyaya Road in Narahenpita on 23rd October.

Constables Yamuna Dhammika Kumari Edirisinghe and Samanmali of Police Division 12093 discovered the wallet and took steps to ensure it reached its rightful owner.

Sabrina Cameron, the owner of the wallet, was summoned to the Prime Minister’s Security Division, where Police Superintendent Sumithra de Silva, Director of the division, handed it over.

The wallet contained Rs. 6,000 in cash, foreign currency equivalent to approximately Rs. 600,000, local and foreign credit cards, an international driver’s licence, a passport, and other important documents.
