President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has amended the scopes, functions, departments, statutory bodies, and state corporations assigned to several ministries, following the recent Cabinet reshuffle.
The President has issued a gazette notification outlining the changes, which redefine the areas of responsibility and oversight of the affected ministries.
The amendments are part of the government’s ongoing administrative adjustments aimed at improving efficiency and aligning ministerial functions with current policy priorities.
