The Police Department will officially open the Proceeds of Crime Investigation Division tomorrow, to strengthen the country’s crime investigation capabilities.
The inauguration will take place under the patronage of Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs, Ananda Wijepala Mathuthima, with the participation of Inspector General of Police, Attorney-at-Law Priyantha Weerasuriya.
The ceremony is scheduled for 20th October 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old Police Headquarters in Colombo 01.
