Young Sri Lankan racing driver Yevan David has made history by winning the Rookie Championship in the Euro Formula Open Championship.
David secured the title after finishing second in the second race of the eighth round of the championship held at Monza, Italy. This impressive performance sealed his position as the top rookie driver of the season.
With this victory, Yevan David becomes the first-ever Sri Lankan to win a Rookie Championship in the prestigious Euro Formula Open series, marking a proud milestone for Sri Lanka in international motorsport.
