A special counter to issue air tickets at concessional rates for Sri Lankan migrant workers was declared open today (16) under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment Arun Hemachandra.
The new service, launched at the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency on Nawala Road, Narahenpita, offers air tickets at prices lower than the regular market rate.
All workers departing for employment in any country can now purchase tickets at reduced rates through this facility.
