The National Transport Commission (NTC) has arranged special bus services to facilitate the heavy passenger movement expected during the Diwali long weekend starting tomorrow (17).
All transport operations will be coordinated from the Bastian Mawatha Bus Terminal in Colombo.
The NTC said it anticipates a significant increase in demand for long-distance travel, particularly on routes to Hatton, Welimada, Badulla, Passara, Vavuniya, and Jaffna.
