Ishara Sewwandi, who was arrested in Nepal and brought back to Sri Lanka, has been handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD), Police Media Spokesperson Assistant Superintendent of Police F. U. Wootler said.
He said that Sewwandi and three others taken into custody were officially handed over to the CCD for further investigations.
Meanwhile, the Police Media Spokesperson added that two other suspects connected to the case have been referred to the Peliyagoda Divisional Criminal Investigation Unit and the Western South Crimes Division.
