Former Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara yesterday (15) appeared before the media following false reports circulating online claiming that he had passed away.
“I heard I had died. I first laughed at it,” Nanayakkara said, dismissing the rumours.
He alleged that the social media posts spreading the misinformation appeared to have been created by someone with malicious intent toward the National People’s Power (NPP) government.
