Minister Harsha Nanayakkara emphasized that under a future National People's Power (NPP) government, no individual will be allowed to engage in drug importation or distribution.
He affirmed that the journey towards building a drug-free nation will not be halted under any circumstances.
The Minister expressed these views during a workshop organized to raise awareness on the theme “A Beautiful Life – A Country Free from Drugs”, attended by state and non-state organizations as well as counseling officers.
Addressing the event held at the Gampaha District Secretariat Auditorium, Minister Nanayakkara reiterated that the government’s program aimed at creating a drug-free Sri Lanka will continue without interruption.
