Former President Maithripala Sirisena appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption this morning (13) to record a statement over an alleged financial fraud linked to an institution affiliated with the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) around 15 years ago.
He spent nearly five hours at the Commission and left the premises around 2 p.m. after his statement was recorded.
