Fairly heavy falls about 75 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Uva provinces.

Condition of Rain:
Showers or thundershowers will occur in the sea areas off the coast extending from Mannar to Pottuvil via Chilaw, Colombo, Galle and Hambanthota. Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the other sea areas around the island during the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be south-westerly or variable and wind speed will be (25-35) kmph.
Wind speed can increase up to 45 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coast extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be moderate at times. The other sea areas around the island will be slight.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
