The digitalization initiative implemented under the new administration of the Presidential Fund has earned two major awards at the prestigious National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) 2025, reaffirming its excellence in innovation and public service.
The awards were presented in recognition of the new digital system introduced on February 7 this year, which successfully streamlined and enhanced citizen services offered by the Presidential Fund.
The Presidential Fund received the following honors at the national-level event:
1. Bronze Award – Citizen Services Category
2. Special Award for Excellence – Public Sector
Winning these two awards highlights the Fund’s outstanding efforts in leveraging modern technology to provide efficient, transparent, and citizen-friendly public services.
In particular, receiving the Special Award for Excellence in the Public Sector sets a strong example for other government institutions, emphasizing the importance and success of digital transformation in the state sector.
Through this program, the Presidential Fund aims to make public services simpler, faster, and more accessible for all citizens across Sri Lanka.
