BCC Lanka Limited has presented Rs. 50 million in dividends to the Treasury, marking a remarkable turnaround for a company once slated for liquidation due to continued losses.
The cheque was handed over by the company’s Chairman, H.A. Prasanna Indrajith, to Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Anil Jayantha and Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma in Parliament today (07).
Highlighting the company’s progress, officials said BCC Lanka has so far accumulated fixed deposits worth Rs. 105 million this year, reflecting significant financial recovery.
