Showers or thunder showers will occur at several places in most provinces after 1.00 p.m.
Showers may occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle, Matara, Jaffna and Mannar districts in the morning too.
Heavy showers above 75 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-central and Uva provinces and in Vavuniya and Mullaitivu districts.

Condition of Rain:
Showers or thundershowers will occur in the sea areas off the coast extending from Kankasanthurai to Matara via Puttalam, Colombo and Galle.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the other sea areas around the island during the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be south-westerly or variable and wind speed will be (30-40) kmph.
State of Sea:
The sea areas around the island can be slight to moderate.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
