Addressing the International Tourism Leadership Summit (ITLS) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath said the government is committed to promoting the tourism industry while safeguarding the country’s culture and heritage.
He added that it is not the government’s policy to specifically promote gay tourism.
