Fort Police said that a Dutch national was arrested for flying a drone from Galle Face Green towards the Presidential Secretariat without official permission.
The drone was seized and taken into police custody. The arrest was initially made by Sri Lanka Air Force personnel, who later handed the suspect over to the police.
The suspect, a 56-year-old man, is scheduled to be produced before court. Investigations are being carried out under the supervision of Fort Police OIC Chief Inspector Dileepa C. Perera.
