Former Minister of Labour Manusha Nanayakkara has been summoned to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption tomorrow (26).
According to reports, the summons relates to an investigation concerning the process of sending Sri Lankan workers to Israel. Nanayakkara has been directed to appear before the Commission at 9.30 a.m. to record a statement.
The Commission had initially called upon the former minister to appear on the 8th of this month. However, he was overseas at the time. Nanayakkara returned to Sri Lanka last night (24) from Dubai.
