The Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court today ordered the remand of Sampath Manamperi until September 26.
He was recently arrested over the alleged possession of two containers containing chemicals suspected to be used in the manufacture of the drug ‘Ice’.
Meanwhile, Manamperi filed a petition with the Court of Appeal yesterday (22) seeking an order directing the Inspector General of Police to take necessary measures to ensure his safety.
