The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has announced that the leave of all its employees has been cancelled with immediate effect.
According to the CEB’s General Manager, the directive will remain in place until further notice. The decision has been taken in view of the Board’s operational requirements and the need to ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply across the country.
Authorities have urged all employees to report to duty as scheduled, while further instructions will be communicated in the coming days.
