Former President and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) leader Mahinda Rajapaksa is set to vacate his official residence on Wijerama Mawatha today(11).
A senior SLPP official confirmed that the decision comes following the passage of the Presidents' Entitlements Removal Bill in Parliament yesterday (10).
President Rajapaksa is scheduled to leave the Wijerama Mawatha residence today and will return to his family residence, Carlton House in Tangalle.
