Sri Lanka Customs has announced the appointment of Director Chandana Punchihewa as its new Media Spokesman.
The appointment was made by Seewali Arukgoda, the former Media Spokesman, who recently assumed duties as the Director General of Customs.
Mr.Punchihewa, who entered the service in 1997 as an Assistant Customs Officer, is presently the Director of the Information Technology Division of Sri Lanka Customs.
He holds a BSc degree in Science from the University of Peradeniya and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Colombo. He is also an old boy of Mahinda College, Galle.
