Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya visited the Tangalle Town Hall this morning (06) to pay her final respects to the Tangalle Municipal Council employees who lost their lives in the tragic bus accident in Ella-Wellawaya.
The accident claimed the lives of 15 residents from the Tangalle area. Of them, 12 bodies were placed at the Tangalle Town Hall for public viewing and final respects.
Following religious rites held around 10:00 a.m. today, the bodies were handed over to the victims’ families for final rites at their respective residences.
