A person has been injured in a shooting incident that took place in front of a private bank on Panchikawatte Road, Maradana, today (06).
According to police, two unidentified gunmen arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire at the victim, and fled the scene immediately after the attack.
The injured individual was rushed to the Colombo National Hospital and is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Police have launched further investigations into the incident, while efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects.
