The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has deployed a MI-17 helicopter at the SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa, and a Bell 412 helicopter at SLAF Station Weerawila to assist in response to last night’s bus accident on the Ella–Wellawaya road.
According to the SLAF, both helicopters remain on standby to airlift patients to Colombo or to support any necessary rescue operations.
