A newly surfaced video has revealed the shocking method used to smuggle the firearm that killed underworld figure Ganemulla Sanjeewa inside the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court.
The footage shows the weapon being concealed inside a hollowed-out legal book carried by an individual disguised as a lawyer. The gun, hidden between the altered pages, was later retrieved in the courtroom and used to fatally shoot Sanjeewa, who was facing multiple criminal charges at the time.
