Former Member of Parliament Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thero has been remanded until September 12 after being produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court today.
Police Media Spokesman ASP F.U. Wootler said a warrant for his arrest had been issued by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on August 18, following a police request.
