Five members of a major Sri Lankan criminal gang and a woman have been arrested by Indonesian security forces, Police Media Spokesperson ASP F. U. Wutler confirmed.
The arrests were made during a joint operation carried out by the Sri Lanka Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Interpol.
It is reported that those arrested include Kehelbaddara Padme, Commando Salintha, Panadura Nilanga, Backo Saman and his wife, as well as one other person.
