A gunman opened fire at a restaurant located on Beach Road, Matara targeting its owner last night. The owner narrowly escaped without injuries.
Police said the suspect fled the scene, leaving behind a firearm, four rounds of ammunition, and a spent cartridge. Investigations are underway to apprehend the shooter.
