The Sri Lanka Under-19 cricket team is set to embark on a much-anticipated tour to the West Indies this August-September. The young Lions will face off against the West Indies U-19 team in a series of Youth One Day Internationals (ODIs).
The tour will begin on 24 August, with the Sri Lankan team departing for the West Indies to compete in a total of seven ODIs. The matches will be held at two iconic venues: the Coolidge Cricket Ground (CCG) and the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground (SVCG), both renowned for their rich cricketing history and vibrant atmosphere.
The youth squad will have their first clash against the West Indies U-19 team on 30 August at CCG. The series is spread over two weeks, with games scheduled at both CCG and SVCG, allowing the Sri Lankan team ample opportunity to showcase their skills against a competitive West Indies side.
