Six foreign women were arrested during a police raid on a brothel that had been operating under the cover of an Ayurvedic spa in Wellawatte.
The raid was carried out last night by the Wellawatte Police, acting on a tip-off regarding suspicious activities at the establishment located on Station Road.
According to police, the arrested women are all foreign nationals, aged between 30 and 40 years.
Further investigations into the incident are being carried out by the Wellawatte Police.
