The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that water supply to several areas in the Gampaha District will be suspended today (14) due to essential maintenance work.
The water cut will be in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., lasting for a total of 10 hours, the NWSDB confirmed.
The affected areas are Nittambuwa Kanda Hena, Mapagolla, Longasdeniya, Pinnagollawatta, Kolawatta, Gorakadeniya Ranpokunagama, Ranpokunagama Housing Scheme, Bataleeya, Attanagalla, Pasyala, Urapola, Dikkanda, Meevitigammana, Maimbula, Mathalana, Bhaggalla, Alawala, Kalalpitiya, and Ellamulla.
The NWSDB urged residents in the affected areas to store adequate water in advance and use it sparingly during the suspension period.
