An Air India flight from Trivandrum to Delhi was cancelled on Saturday following a suspected bird hit just before landing in Trivandrum. The flight, which was arriving from Delhi, landed safely. However, airline authorities kept the aircraft grounded for detailed checks.

This same aircraft was scheduled to operate the return flight from Trivandrum to Delhi, which now stands cancelled due to the bird strike incident.
