An event was held at the site of ballistic missile attack on the Bat Yam civilian housing complex to brief ambassadors and international media based in Israel on the devastation caused. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and Bat Yam Mayor Tzvika Brot attended the event.
Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Israel Mr.Nimal Bandara says the attack, the deadliest on Israel during the recent Iran-Israel war, caused extensive destruction.
According to Mayor Brot, the attack severely damaged 75 residential buildings in the area, 22 of which were completely destroyed.
Two Sri Lankan Caregivers were injured in the attack.
