The Joint Council of Supplementary Medical Professionals has announced the temporary suspension of their planned nationwide symbolic strike, originally set for tomorrow. The decision follows a productive discussion with the Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Health.

The council had initiated strike plans after nearly two months of unacknowledged concerns and repeated requests for dialogue with the Ministry. However, in light of the recent meeting, which opened the door for further engagement, the council has decided to call off the strike and resume normal services.
